Being an early adopter of things has it’s rewards and drawbacks. However, being an early adopter of Famous For Fifteen Seconds has some massive rewards. Being as there are only 12 positions taken so far out of 5760, the current 12 positions are rotated continuously.
Twelve images/URL’s rotating at 16 seconds each means a complete rotation is taking 192 seconds. One hundred ninety two seconds divided by 60 seconds is 3.2 minutes. Being as there are 1440 minutes in a day (60 minutes times 24 hours) if my image and URL are shown every 3.2 minutes by my calculations I have the potential to be seen 450 times a day.
Famous for Fifteen Seconds traffic has gone us by 410% over the last three months (as per Alexa.com) Even Twitter has only gone up by 73.2%. Sure Famous doesn’t have the traffic of Twitter … BUT … If this keeps up – WOW!!! Especially if people visiting the site do not see the value of adding themselves in to the rotation. But it is all about choice and choosing rather or not $5.00 is too much to pay a month to assist in driving traffic to your website or offer (NOTE: I am not an affiliate, partner, or any other thing that will get me even a penny of the $5.00 – but I DO believe Adrian’s idea has HUGE potential)
Anyway – that has been our math section of the day

As I’ve said before we can have the grandest ideas in the world, but if we fail to take action – they are just ideas, pipe dreams, nuggets of stuff just floating around – waiting for someone else to take the action(s) needed to bring a GREAT ideas to reality.
