Next year is but days away – what will YOU do?

This coming year’s promise will only be fulfilled if we recognize that things will only get better if we are fully engaged in being part of the solution to make things better. We have to recognize that social justice is a necessary condition to have a flourishing market economy.

Capitalism without a Conscience leaves a market economy that has to be subsidized by the government in the form of welfare because we not only have far too many people who are unemployed. We have too many people who are underemployed or are amongst the working poor because they can’t get employment that provides a living wage.

Wall Street needs to start helping Main Street rather than just themselves. The Health Care Industry needs to recognize that their desire for profits causes needless illnesses and deaths. Corporate America needs to take classes on Civics and not just recognize that the US Constitution is the Law of the Land: “Government is of, by, and for the people,” not “Of, by, and for the Corporation” as far too many people associated with the upper echelons of Corporate America expect WE THE PEOPLE to believe and accept as the way it should be.

Generosity, not Greed, is what has made this country of ours the best it can be. As we approach the end of this holiday season, let us all remember that the Spirit of Christmas is Giving, not taking, and that the Spirit of Christmas should exist every day. Let us all give love and joy to others; not agony and despair. We need to be good neighbors that help a community thrive through cooperation. Competition should be for who can be the most helpful in making the community more than a sum of its parts, rather than who can be the richest leech in the neighborhood. In game-theoretic terms, we don’t have to play a zero-sum game where there has to be winners and losers. We can change the status quo to a new paradigm where all sides gain by balancing the needs of a market economy with social justice.

My heart is unconditionally full of compassion for my fellow citizens, that’s just the way I am.

The Amazing Treadmill Desk – Three Blogs in One Day

WOW!!! This is amazing! Today is day two of utilizing my “new” treadmill desk. The treadmill we’ve had for a while and had sadly become quite dusty but no more A shelf we bought at Ikea that was never put up – an old shelf from an old wall unit – no longer possessed and four phone books that have never ever been opened – created an AWESOME treadmill desk.

Official treadmill desks can run you upwards of four and FIVE THOUSAND dollars! I kid you not but why spend that kind of money if you do not need to? … LOL!!! … well, if you can afford it – spend away however for those who live a tad more frugally – there are tons of ways to create a treadmill desk of your very own. As more continue to flock to the Internet the long hours spent sitting WILL affect ones posterior. Although the Internet is an awesome conduit – it can reek havoc on ones health

So – what is my GoalBuzz in this? Outcomes I am after:

Fitness: Get weight back down to the 140ish range – NO higher than 148. To once again be comfortable in my own skin (not like an overstuffed chair )

Focus: By taking my long walks I am allowing the blessing of creativity to visit me easier … see it’s working already Gosh I smiley face a LOT … but oh well. And back to focus. With the focus I find colored vividly by endorphins I will create that which I am meant to, to assist others to do the same in the way they are meant to do so … clear as mud … right? ~f-o-c-u-s~

Websites and Writing: I have over 250 domain names (I will be letting about 100 drop – that will bring me down to the more manageable number of 250ish) While on my Walkation I will blog, work on websites, and other productive things

My goal starting out is to walk a minimum of three hours a day. Imagine if this took off and every one working with a computer, who was able to do so – walked while they were at the computer. Would this affect the productivity for the good or the bad? I’ve noticed I get a LOT more typos than if I were seated at my desk.

I am now at 7.5 miles for the day and i am less than 7 minutes away from three hours … had I not done this – what would I have done? Oh Boy though I am ready for a break and a shower

Imagine … Imagine if everywhere you look everyone was happy, where everyone was at peace, where everyone sought to be the BEST they could be and also sought to help others to be the best they can be … Imagine what a wonderful world one would find if the first thought is to build a wonderful world.

LOT’s of “free love” 1960 imagery ~ but get past that and see it as fueling our earth with love … with purpose … with fulfillment … with the reason WE (you, me, her, him, them, and us ) what a wonderful world this WILL be.

Begin to accept you ARE wonderful, we are ALL wonderful – WE ARE A MIRACLE. Imagine when everyone understands how absolutely wonderful we all are … and then we begin to act like we ARE Wonderful and WE ARE MIRACLES … WOW!!!

Be happy? Be kings? Be blessed? Understand the power of our choice and what we choose?

We create in everything we do and do NOT. We affect and have an effect on everything we come into contact with every day. Embark on this journey and accept the fact that YES!!! YOU ARE WONDERFUL.

What is the potential when humanity begins to expand into how wonderful we are and begins to work together to build instead of against to destroy … WOW … it is with the Law of Attraction I set this magnetic course into action.

Let Me be My Self

Great Greetings

I started the day today reading through my e-mail. One of the emails I missed from yesterday lead me to the video of Shrek and the song “Let Me Be Myself” sung by 3 Doors Down. What an awesome song, what an awesome movie, what an awesome combination.

We are moving towards people accepting others as they are, but many people are still hiding who they really are from themselves. As a child the phrase: Relax, Release, Let Go came to me and when it did – it saved my life … literally. I had been hanging on to a submerged log in a fast moving river, and I didn’t know how to swim.

Those words came to me like a warm blanket on a cold night … Relax … Release … Let Go and know it is alright. My friend shrieking from shore, told me afterward that she was totally amazed I drifted against the current and ended up in a thicket of tree roots about 10 feet below where she stood. The phrase relax, release, let go has stayed with me all these years.

It wasn’t until the past few years the … and know it is alright, part was remembered. I feel the Relax, release, let go and know it is alright joined with the Let Me Be My Self are another perfect combination and as Shrek shows we don’t have to be the prefect prince or the beautiful princess to be the awesome wonder in which we are.

It takes all kinds to make the world the place it is to be … so Relax, Release, Let Go and Know It Is Alright – Let Me Be My Self … That is said from Myself to My Self … If everyone gave themselves permission to BE who they are, we will get to where we are going very much quicker. When we allow ourselves to be who we are our gifts each of us have are allowed to open and begin to be utilized much like the seeds of future flowers are contained inside the heart of every bud, BUT if the bud is not allowed to open and show it’s true colors, the seeds are lost ….

So the Goal Buzz for today is Be Authentic – Be who YOU are – accept others for who THEY are – and let’s all stop trying to categorize people into who we think they should be or how they should act. If all the colors in the crayon box were the same color, and all the building the same style and all the roads only went one way … yucky poo-poo

Famous For Fifteen Seconds

I just joined a fairly new website called Famous For Fifteen Seconds. The cost to be added into the rotation is $5.00 per month (every month one stays a member and in rotation). The actual time a subscribers image and URL are on at one time is 16 seconds so an image will be able to rotate around the clock and not just be shown at the particular time the subscriber signed up.

From the Terms and Conditions:

As the actual time for display will be 16 seconds this will ensure if all slots are filled that your image gets a time slot right round 24 hours so will be seen at some stage at each time of day all around the world.

Sixteen seconds times the number of TOTAL available slots is 25.6 hours.

The early adopters are able to get their image shown many more times than once per day, as the images (and subsequent URL’s) are being rotated continuously. As of the time of my subscription there are still 5,749 slots available. I feel that even once the rotation is full – having ones image and url the only thing someone sees on their screen for 15 seconds will be huge. Where as the Million Dollar Home Page is a static page ~ Famous For Fifteen Seconds is on a rotating basis … so (imho) the site will end up being much more sticky (meaning people will come back more often and stick around longer)

My current image is that of a red flower (for the BUZZ and the URL is of course Goal Buzz anything to get the buzz on our goals.

This was a subject I felt I must act on. What a way to begin to put my feet purposely on to the hot coals. This is a new venture I am excited about embarking on, as the focus truly does shift to goals and *getting things done* Another of my (very) major goals are my domain names and my domaining business … and I am very curious as to what the effect of famous For Fifteen Seconds will have.

Ideas are swirling on the potential of this venture and possible ideas that spring forth from this, like the seed burrowed into soil, given water and sunshine grows to the plant it is to be bearing the fruit it bears and then the seed burrows into the soil to start the cycle all over again…. I am grateful for the follow on Twitter that alerted me to this opportunity. After reading the FAQ on Famous For Fifteen Seconds, reading the T and C’s (terms and conditions) and asking some clarifying questions of Adrian, I knew it was time to plan and then act Talk about some magnetic marketing!!!

So it is I share this find with you. We truly do have so much to be thankful for in this world, as the Internet continues to shape and mold so many possibilities. As this site gains readers it will morph into a platform for all our members to utilize to assist in defining, setting, planning and then acting on our goals.

The hard part is waiting for my image and URL to go live as again from the Terms and Conditions:

Without action – nothing happens. Nothing – nada – zip – zero – zilch – nothing.

Ah – but Evie (you may say) the sun always rises every morning. No one has to do anything and the sun rises over the horizon. Yep – it sure does – BUT this is only after the earth has made a complete revolution to be back where we started yesterday morning … but even though it is the same routine we follow every morning, every day is just a tiny bit different.

The difference may not be noted by the casual observer as we go about our routines morning after morning – but as each day ticks past, depending on the time of year, the morning occur earlier or later every day, until finally day and night are the same, and then the pendulum begins it’s swing the other way.

I began this entry while the days continued to grow longer, this entry will be posted as the days are now waning toward the shortest day/longest night of the year once again.

So what does the title of this entry mean “If wishing for success – wish to be able to ACT” have to do with the sun rising and days passing? Nothing stays the same – just as nothing happens without action, inaction leads to decay.

Continual Improvement is something that is imperative we begin to understand (and actively seek). If we are awesome, but we fail to continue to grow and challenge ourselves, what makes us awesome will one day allow us only to be average, and then one day … we have fallen to below average.

Because JUST as the sun rises every morning from an easterly direction, so do we as humanity continue to evolve. It is our nature.

Day three of the 100 Day Challenge

Oh My Goodness – time really does fly!

It is day three of the 100 day challenge and I am already behind. I have a lot of reasons (excuses) for why this is so, but I think the *reason* I am, is I have yet to “Pay The Price”. Not the price of the program ~ which is quite nominal, but the price of investing in myself enough to MAKE ME get up and DO … F-O-C-U-S.

Focus has always been an issue with me – I can be into something and a little flutter just out of my line of sight catches my eye and off I go in another direction … ooohhhh … what was that? So, at the end of the day I am left with *stuff* all over the place and I can’t remember what that *stuff* was for

I remember as a kid seeing George Carlin talking about *Stuff*:

It is time to organize and keep track of my stuff and focus on what I am to do … The 100 Day Challenge. Accountability happens in the 100 Day Challenge. It is time to act and begin to spread the happy of being blessed, but that is all choice we are free to choose.

For everything we do or do not do, we create. We create rather or not we acknowledge we are creating. Either we are creating *stuff* people want or *shit* no one does. Even if want we create is *stuff* that can not be held, touched, or seen … we are creating … even if what we create is nothing more than a black hole.

… hmmm … the world is filled with enough black holes. It’s time to create what people want (or the secret is …) Or creating things people WILL want. Now – how to do this? I feel it is in the 100 Day Challenge, so – back to work for me

It’s never too late to begin the 100 day challenge, and open to ones own potential.

The other day while surfing the Internet (I hang ten like a PRO ) I ran across a site that points out there are only 100 Days left of the year 2009 on September 23rd. The website asked if I was ready for the 100 Day Challenge?

After signing up and scouring the site … I can excitedly say YES!!! Yes I am ready for the 100 Day Challenge. I am ready to be inconvenienced. I am ready to be pushed, poked, and prodded. I am READY

The video’s available just for pre-registering are AWESOME. My excitement level is high and I am looking forward to Wednesday September the 23rd, 2009. This has given me an exceptional push to get all the things I’ve been postponing DONE, so I will have a clean slate to work with on the 23rd.

Tonight is our monthly Home Owners Association (HOA) meeting, so that means the notes from tonight’s meeting will be written, published to our HOA website and sent out to the board for feedback earlier than expected … what a GREAT way to start.

I have decided today is a day to begin to do what it is that I do so as to create results. I am not looking for mediocre results, or maybe even pretty good I am looking for knock it out of the ballpark and into some place that makes/writes history.

So – to this one must have all components, gears, and channels running in their best form.

What is needed to BREAK – THROUGH ?

Follow-Through?

Follow-Through BELIEVE YOU CAN AND YOU DO – and YOU WILL!!!

Does one HAVE to hit rock bottom to break through the belief of rather or not something is possible. Many never have any driver to success but just an internal drive to succeed. HOWEVER we are ALL meant to succeed, prosper and “be all we can be”

Do ONE Thing – DOT – Department of Transportation – what vehicle will YOU use to get to where you want to be. Belief … Belief in that power of (y)(o)(u)(r) capability.

Why? Oh, You ARE Capable

FOCUS ~ Multi-Tasking is a catch phrase that has hurt us greatly. We CAN’T do more than ONE thing at a time. We can all fill every spare moment – BUT – we are actually ONLY doing ONE thing at a time.

Doing ONE thing at a time we are able to build certainty that what we ARE doing WILL work. Doing one thing, we are able to gain the skills needed to succeed. But that all begins with a plan. What is the potential? Can we shift past a “It’s never been done before” mindset and understand potential is only based on what action one takes.

Now taking an action and that action doesn’t work – the actions can either be tweaked, continued as is, or stopped. Tweaking with the certainty you WILL succeed draws that result to oneself greatly. Belief is a HUGE driver. Do I BELIEVE I can? Even if others say I can’t? Can one break past others overlay of what they feel I SHOULD or should NOT be able to do?

BE CERTAIN – Build certainty into your actions. Golfers use it. Basketball players do it. Execution is everything – BUT being CERTAIN it will work makes the execution able.

What is the potential – What ACTIONS will you take drive the results we get – which builds more belief … but the magic fairy dust of belief can be broken … we are ALL capable of ANYTHING we are certain we can do.

By being certain we can, we can take almost any potential and through action our results will continue to grow in what looks like an EnchantedFairyTale.com

What rituals do you do in YOUR enchanted fairy tale (each of our lives are a story we write day in and day out). Our role is to create value. Our role in life no matter what it is WE do – our purpose is to create value for others. Once we break through the barriers of what believe we are capable of – the belief in what we can do is limitless.

But what if we are disappointed? Disappointment is ONLY a lesson – tweak it, continue doing your one thing to absolute awesome success in creating value. It is all in our head … or not … I am also reading the book “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle.
