The question was asked if everyone would be attending -and while MANY have said they would NOT be attending – my answer was eventually …

Eventually … yes

Everyone will be attending … Resistance is futile Isn’t it GREAT

However it would happen sooner if everyone would just get on board instead of saying … “It’s impossible” … cheese & rice … if we would have stayed with that mentality we would not fly, have cold or hot water at the touch of a button, OR communicate with thousands of people around the world instantly

The Happening We Have Been Waiting For – began 4/25/2010 at Noon EST – it continues constantly until everyone attends All you need do to attend is give thought to connecting … world wide connection with an open heart.

Imagine a world where love is the motivator. Not love in the form of one or more of our senses, but rather love in the sense of self and of giving to others without thought of what is in it for them … there is a movie with this premise – I’d suggest watching it if you haven’t seen it …

Pay It Forward.

Pay It Forward is to do something for three people who could not have done on their own. All the recipient of the good deed need do is do the same for three other people … and so on, and so on, and so on.

Talking about your win, win, win type situations … if done with an open heart and with true intent, humanity will achieve the goal of Human Kindness

So – some of the buzz for my goals this day is to bring TheLinkBlog.com online with a blog. I think I will put the blog separate from the WhyPark domain name.

That sounds like a plan I can blog about the links I find in my travels along the Internet … Gosh I love following the Internet Trail

Now – where to go from here … just write and we shall see.

The Amazing Treadmill Desk – Three Blogs in One Day

WOW!!! This is amazing! Today is day two of utilizing my “new” treadmill desk. The treadmill we’ve had for a while and had sadly become quite dusty but no more A shelf we bought at Ikea that was never put up – an old shelf from an old wall unit – no longer possessed and four phone books that have never ever been opened – created an AWESOME treadmill desk.

Official treadmill desks can run you upwards of four and FIVE THOUSAND dollars! I kid you not but why spend that kind of money if you do not need to? … LOL!!! … well, if you can afford it – spend away however for those who live a tad more frugally – there are tons of ways to create a treadmill desk of your very own. As more continue to flock to the Internet the long hours spent sitting WILL affect ones posterior. Although the Internet is an awesome conduit – it can reek havoc on ones health

So – what is my GoalBuzz in this? Outcomes I am after:

Fitness: Get weight back down to the 140ish range – NO higher than 148. To once again be comfortable in my own skin (not like an overstuffed chair )

Focus: By taking my long walks I am allowing the blessing of creativity to visit me easier … see it’s working already Gosh I smiley face a LOT … but oh well. And back to focus. With the focus I find colored vividly by endorphins I will create that which I am meant to, to assist others to do the same in the way they are meant to do so … clear as mud … right? ~f-o-c-u-s~

Websites and Writing: I have over 250 domain names (I will be letting about 100 drop – that will bring me down to the more manageable number of 250ish) While on my Walkation I will blog, work on websites, and other productive things

My goal starting out is to walk a minimum of three hours a day. Imagine if this took off and every one working with a computer, who was able to do so – walked while they were at the computer. Would this affect the productivity for the good or the bad? I’ve noticed I get a LOT more typos than if I were seated at my desk.

I am now at 7.5 miles for the day and i am less than 7 minutes away from three hours … had I not done this – what would I have done? Oh Boy though I am ready for a break and a shower

More people every day are making a living online creating digital products. Every time we turn around more people are sending out e-mails hawking another digital product. Many of the e-mails are endorsing the same digital product. How do the makers of these products keep coming up with their ideas and bringing them into creation is such a short time span? The truth is, it is easier than most of us think it is. Regardless of who you are, what type education you have or even how much free time you have – you too can create your own digital product.

But how do you go about creating your OWN digital product? Available for instant download by those who wish to sign-up for your newsletter, download totally free, or even give you their hard earned cash? How do you go about creating your own digital product in record time?

I am a fan of checklists. A checklist will assist you in organizing the entire process. The checklist can include goals and a time limit for each of your items to be checked off. By doing this you are creating your own accountability system to ensure each step has been completed. A checklist ensures success faster.

What should you include in your checklist? Things such as market research and then niche research (drill down into the market of your choice) and then it’s on to keyword research. By using the keyword research you can build your product around them – this will assist surfers to find your products easier. Writing – how long will you give yourself for the writing process? Will you do it in one setting or over many? How long per session?

By entering into product creation without time limits for your goals along the way, you are entering into a squishy quagmire or a slippery slope that leaves you open to never accomplishing your goal, forever spinning your wheels in process. How can you know you are done, or even when you should be done? With time limits and set goals along the way, you are able to track your progress. Are you ahead, on target or behind. Being able to measure your progress you can then track when you may need to change or step up your strategies.

Once your checklist is in place, it is time to start your research in your chosen area, market or niche. Tools to use now include such things as Google Adwords Keywords, Word Tracker or Market Samurai to determine how many people are actually searching for the area, market and niche you would like to address.

When all is said and done, even if you have the best product to fill that area – if no one wants it, it will not be to your advantage to spend you time in this market, niche or area. This will also show you how many others are competing for those readers, or dollars. Done properly, this can save you a lot of wasted time. Making sure your niche is a profitable one before spending too much time or your money can save you a lot of headache and heart ache in the long run.

Once the research has been done, it is time to start writing. The best way to write for the Internet is to write as though you are talking to a friend. As the saying goes “what is a stranger, but a friend you have not yet met”, and in this new market we are living in – people want to buy from those they know and trust . No BS’ing those you wish to build a relationship with – even if that relationship is only one of seller and buyer … as those definitions are becoming more and more blurred everyday.

When you are writing, do just that, write. Don’t edit. Don’t re-read. Don’t think too much. Writing is for just that – To WRITE. This will allow you to crank out a much higher amount of content in a much shorter mount of time (and no matter what – Content IS King). As a matter of fact when one allows themselves to get into the flow of writing the quality of the content can actually be much greater than if one agonizes over word usage, comma placement or sentence structure. PLUS the writing will sound more natural and free flowing.

Editing comes AFTER writing – not during the writing process. Using a spell checking software will take care of this issue along the way – so if you see red underlined words – don’t sweat it and do NOT go back to correct it – that is for AFTER you are done getting your words on the paper or on the screen.

If writing is not your cup of tea – writing is a task you can outsource using many of the resources available online, however having a rough framework of what you want to have written will assist your product to be what you envision it to be.

When you sit down with your researched market and niche and have your list of keywords to use and then allow your self to get into the flow of writing. You will have a pile of digital products to give away or sell in a very short amount of time.

SO – creating digitial products is a much easier task than many want you to believe it is and you too can have your own products to offer your readers, subscribers and buyers.

Pandora – the way music will be heard in future?

Yesterday I became aware of a site called Pandora (no kick back, payment or affiliation of any kind for the link) Pandora began what they call a Music Genome Project (registered trademark) … About this same time we began a project at my place of work at the time (Intuit) and we called it the genome project.

The business end of our project goals was to get to the smallest particle of what made what happen when and where in the QuickBooks program. QuickBooks had grown very quickly and it had become a pieced together bit of wonder – but how did all the pieces work together? The team I had on this project were the BEST of the BEST! and they delved deeper than anyone thought they would be able to. They embarked into an unknown territory. Their focus was to uncover the genome of QuickBooks.

We went to Mountain View a few times to educate the programmers of the program about what the program THEY built did, why, and what happened IF … since I was on the management side (the *YOU CAN DO IT* motivating part) a lot of what my team did went right over my head, but I knew what they did made a HUGE difference in what happened going forward.

We knew what our goal was we carefully planned what to do and then we acted upon what we found. The potential was HUGE!

Unfortunately (in my view) the bottom line ruled the future and Intuit is where Intuit is now because of that … neither here, neither there – BUT …

The Genome projects of the year 2000 lay the ground work for the future – one of which is Pandora:

On January 6, 2000 a group of musicians and music-loving technologists came together with the idea of creating the most comprehensive analysis of music ever.

Together we set out to capture the essence of music at the most fundamental level. We ended up assembling literally hundreds of musical attributes or “genes” into a very large Music Genome. Taken together these genes capture the unique and magical musical identity of a song – everything from melody, harmony and rhythm, to instrumentation, orchestration, arrangement, lyrics, and of course the rich world of singing and vocal harmony. It’s not about what a band looks like, or what genre they supposedly belong to, or about who buys their records – it’s about what each individual song sounds like.

Since we started back in 2000, we’ve carefully listened to the songs of tens of thousands of different artists – ranging from popular to obscure – and analyzed the musical qualities of each song one attribute at a time. This work continues each and every day as we endeavor to include all the great new stuff coming out of studios, clubs and garages around the world.

It has been quite an adventure, you could say a little crazy – but now that we’ve created this extraordinary collection of music analysis, we think we can help be your guide as you explore your favorite parts of the music universe.

The Music Genome Project

If we lived in Oakland California – I’d be banging on their door daily – I want to work for you! I want to work for you! I WILL work for you But since we don’t and moving to California is HIGHLY unlikely – this blog post will suffice for now. I have created three seperate stations so far and I am amazed – in awe – in wonderful WONDER as to what they have created.

It is my hope the project my team undertook in the year 2000 to map out the QuickBooks genome has rendered that product as useful and awesome as the one undertaken by Pandora.

Let Me be My Self

Great Greetings

I started the day today reading through my e-mail. One of the emails I missed from yesterday lead me to the video of Shrek and the song “Let Me Be Myself” sung by 3 Doors Down. What an awesome song, what an awesome movie, what an awesome combination.

We are moving towards people accepting others as they are, but many people are still hiding who they really are from themselves. As a child the phrase: Relax, Release, Let Go came to me and when it did – it saved my life … literally. I had been hanging on to a submerged log in a fast moving river, and I didn’t know how to swim.

Those words came to me like a warm blanket on a cold night … Relax … Release … Let Go and know it is alright. My friend shrieking from shore, told me afterward that she was totally amazed I drifted against the current and ended up in a thicket of tree roots about 10 feet below where she stood. The phrase relax, release, let go has stayed with me all these years.

It wasn’t until the past few years the … and know it is alright, part was remembered. I feel the Relax, release, let go and know it is alright joined with the Let Me Be My Self are another perfect combination and as Shrek shows we don’t have to be the prefect prince or the beautiful princess to be the awesome wonder in which we are.

It takes all kinds to make the world the place it is to be … so Relax, Release, Let Go and Know It Is Alright – Let Me Be My Self … That is said from Myself to My Self … If everyone gave themselves permission to BE who they are, we will get to where we are going very much quicker. When we allow ourselves to be who we are our gifts each of us have are allowed to open and begin to be utilized much like the seeds of future flowers are contained inside the heart of every bud, BUT if the bud is not allowed to open and show it’s true colors, the seeds are lost ….

So the Goal Buzz for today is Be Authentic – Be who YOU are – accept others for who THEY are – and let’s all stop trying to categorize people into who we think they should be or how they should act. If all the colors in the crayon box were the same color, and all the building the same style and all the roads only went one way … yucky poo-poo

Let Me Be My Self

Being an early adopter of things has it’s rewards and drawbacks. However, being an early adopter of Famous For Fifteen Seconds has some massive rewards. Being as there are only 12 positions taken so far out of 5760, the current 12 positions are rotated continuously.

Twelve images/URL’s rotating at 16 seconds each means a complete rotation is taking 192 seconds. One hundred ninety two seconds divided by 60 seconds is 3.2 minutes. Being as there are 1440 minutes in a day (60 minutes times 24 hours) if my image and URL are shown every 3.2 minutes by my calculations I have the potential to be seen 450 times a day.

Famous for Fifteen Seconds traffic has gone us by 410% over the last three months (as per Alexa.com) Even Twitter has only gone up by 73.2%. Sure Famous doesn’t have the traffic of Twitter … BUT … If this keeps up – WOW!!! Especially if people visiting the site do not see the value of adding themselves in to the rotation. But it is all about choice and choosing rather or not $5.00 is too much to pay a month to assist in driving traffic to your website or offer (NOTE: I am not an affiliate, partner, or any other thing that will get me even a penny of the $5.00 – but I DO believe Adrian’s idea has HUGE potential)

Anyway – that has been our math section of the day If I have it incorrect some how – PLEASE comment and let me know. I’ve been out of school a LONG time and what you don’t use you DO lose.

As I’ve said before we can have the grandest ideas in the world, but if we fail to take action – they are just ideas, pipe dreams, nuggets of stuff just floating around – waiting for someone else to take the action(s) needed to bring a GREAT ideas to reality. So — KNOW what you want to do, PLAN how you will go about doing it, and then ACT. If you haven’t yet begun to do this with your ideas and dreams … make today the day you Being To

Famous For Fifteen Seconds

I just joined a fairly new website called Famous For Fifteen Seconds. The cost to be added into the rotation is $5.00 per month (every month one stays a member and in rotation). The actual time a subscribers image and URL are on at one time is 16 seconds so an image will be able to rotate around the clock and not just be shown at the particular time the subscriber signed up.

From the Terms and Conditions:

As the actual time for display will be 16 seconds this will ensure if all slots are filled that your image gets a time slot right round 24 hours so will be seen at some stage at each time of day all around the world.

Sixteen seconds times the number of TOTAL available slots is 25.6 hours.

The early adopters are able to get their image shown many more times than once per day, as the images (and subsequent URL’s) are being rotated continuously. As of the time of my subscription there are still 5,749 slots available. I feel that even once the rotation is full – having ones image and url the only thing someone sees on their screen for 15 seconds will be huge. Where as the Million Dollar Home Page is a static page ~ Famous For Fifteen Seconds is on a rotating basis … so (imho) the site will end up being much more sticky (meaning people will come back more often and stick around longer)

My current image is that of a red flower (for the BUZZ and the URL is of course Goal Buzz anything to get the buzz on our goals.

This was a subject I felt I must act on. What a way to begin to put my feet purposely on to the hot coals. This is a new venture I am excited about embarking on, as the focus truly does shift to goals and *getting things done* Another of my (very) major goals are my domain names and my domaining business … and I am very curious as to what the effect of famous For Fifteen Seconds will have.

Ideas are swirling on the potential of this venture and possible ideas that spring forth from this, like the seed burrowed into soil, given water and sunshine grows to the plant it is to be bearing the fruit it bears and then the seed burrows into the soil to start the cycle all over again…. I am grateful for the follow on Twitter that alerted me to this opportunity. After reading the FAQ on Famous For Fifteen Seconds, reading the T and C’s (terms and conditions) and asking some clarifying questions of Adrian, I knew it was time to plan and then act Talk about some magnetic marketing!!!

So it is I share this find with you. We truly do have so much to be thankful for in this world, as the Internet continues to shape and mold so many possibilities. As this site gains readers it will morph into a platform for all our members to utilize to assist in defining, setting, planning and then acting on our goals.

The hard part is waiting for my image and URL to go live as again from the Terms and Conditions:

Today is the 14th day of the 100 Day Challenge. It is also the third day in a row (I’m on a roll ) of waking by 5:30 am without the aid of my alarm clock. I have it set for 5:31am just in case I don’t hit the goal of waking before, AND getting out of bed … but so far so good.

How do I do this? My system is to *tell myself* how much time I have available to sleep when I go to bed and then I *tell myself* I must be awake and ready to start the day in *this many hours and minutes* … since beginning to do this a week ago, I’m finding falling asleep is actually quicker and I have been sleeping better. If I wake during the night, a quick glance at the clock and *telling myself* how much longer I have available for sleep/rest/dreams (more on the dreaming in a moment) and back out I am.

Each night before bed I go over the goals I have long term, what I was to have accomplished in the day just done to be able to reach my goals and the things I plan to accomplish the next day. I also *tell myself* what an awesome job I am doing and how wonderful and productive the next day will be.

But what if the day just done wasn’t awesome? It is what it is. As long as I do the best I am able to, in the time allotted, then it IS what it is, it IS awesome, and I am therefore AWESOME as well What if the day just done I goofed off and didn’t get what I wanted to get done, done? Being as I AM awesome, everyone deserves a break now and then – BUT *I tell myself* if I really want to achieve my goals I have set forth, then the next day I need to get back to the thrill of advancing on my goals.

BUT – what if the next day I slack again? Then it is time to sit down and re-think my goals. Are the goals I’ve set forth really what I want, or are they what I think I should to want? Trying to achieve goals one really does not want is a lot like trying to paddle upstream and why would one want to do that, unless it is a life or death situation … and in that case, it probably something one would want very badly

So where am I going with today’s blog? And what about the dreaming part?

Ah – the dreams … note to self begin faithfully writing in a dream journal … my dreams have taken on a mentoring (?) coaching (?) ATTA GIRL!!! feel.

What do I mean by that? hmmm … let me think a moment – An example is a dream I had several nights ago:

I am white water rafting with several other people, it is exhilarating. The river, the raft, all the people on board the raft (including myself and yes the river and raft had feelings in my dream) are all feeling euphoric and WHOOOO HOOOO!!!

Suddenly there is screaming from the bank of the river … a baby is in the water being carried down stream. The baby is sure to drown. The river has no mercy for those who do not bow to it’s power. The water is going fast. White water all around. No one is moving. The raft alerts all to hold on TIGHT. Fear of what the water is capable of grab hold of me, the polished rocks bear testament to it’s true power as white water spray covers everything and everyone, and then a calm blankets me and I know I can save the baby, I can do anything, all I have to do – is DO IT

… and I do.

So, where am I going with today’s blog? By defining what it is we truly want and then breaking it down into the pieces that will make it happen – we are capable and ABLE to do ANY THING we truly desire to do. But to make it happen – We MUST Act!

Do It Now

But that is our choice.

If we choose not to, then the accountability sits squarely on the shoulders of the one who chose not to act.

Potential-Action-Results-Belief

Great Day All,

I am in need of some heap big POWERFUL To Do List Secrets …

I have decided today is a day to begin to do what it is that I do so as to create results. I am not looking for mediocre results, or maybe even pretty good I am looking for knock it out of the ballpark and into some place that makes/writes history.

So – to this one must have all components, gears, and channels running in their best form.

What is needed to BREAK – THROUGH ?

Follow-Through?

Follow-Through BELIEVE YOU CAN AND YOU DO – and YOU WILL!!!

Does one HAVE to hit rock bottom to break through the belief of rather or not something is possible. Many never have any driver to success but just an internal drive to succeed. HOWEVER we are ALL meant to succeed, prosper and “be all we can be”

Do ONE Thing – DOT – Department of Transportation – what vehicle will YOU use to get to where you want to be. Belief … Belief in that power of (y)(o)(u)(r) capability.

Why? Oh, You ARE Capable

FOCUS ~ Multi-Tasking is a catch phrase that has hurt us greatly. We CAN’T do more than ONE thing at a time. We can all fill every spare moment – BUT – we are actually ONLY doing ONE thing at a time.

Doing ONE thing at a time we are able to build certainty that what we ARE doing WILL work. Doing one thing, we are able to gain the skills needed to succeed. But that all begins with a plan. What is the potential? Can we shift past a “It’s never been done before” mindset and understand potential is only based on what action one takes.

Now taking an action and that action doesn’t work – the actions can either be tweaked, continued as is, or stopped. Tweaking with the certainty you WILL succeed draws that result to oneself greatly. Belief is a HUGE driver. Do I BELIEVE I can? Even if others say I can’t? Can one break past others overlay of what they feel I SHOULD or should NOT be able to do?

BE CERTAIN – Build certainty into your actions. Golfers use it. Basketball players do it. Execution is everything – BUT being CERTAIN it will work makes the execution able.

What is the potential – What ACTIONS will you take drive the results we get – which builds more belief … but the magic fairy dust of belief can be broken … we are ALL capable of ANYTHING we are certain we can do.

By being certain we can, we can take almost any potential and through action our results will continue to grow in what looks like an EnchantedFairyTale.com

What rituals do you do in YOUR enchanted fairy tale (each of our lives are a story we write day in and day out). Our role is to create value. Our role in life no matter what it is WE do – our purpose is to create value for others. Once we break through the barriers of what believe we are capable of – the belief in what we can do is limitless.

But what if we are disappointed? Disappointment is ONLY a lesson – tweak it, continue doing your one thing to absolute awesome success in creating value. It is all in our head … or not … I am also reading the book “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle.

We are our story ~ ??? ~ or are we not … We CREATE our Story

Mini Monster Mixer at the Dirty Martini

Great Day All,

I look forward to tomorrows networking event at the Dirty Martini located in Clearwater on US 19. I’ve created a *pamphlet* mixed with my business card it is Awesome! Being that the event IS a mixer ~ perfect!

I keep playing with my proto-type pamphlet ~ it looks GREAT!!! I am really looking forward to this event. A gathering of people ready to network their talents and thus create successes for all involved {and beyond ~ the real joy to living ones passion}

First thing tomorrow I am off to Staples to have 100 (or so) copies made, and then back to the office to fold and staple them into my presentation packet. All I need then is a presentation pocket … hmmm … excited yes I be, for the future true I see, is it fate or is it luck? All I know is, I am AweStruck

Feeling waves of 60 day experiments coming *due* … but realizing the coming due is so much like Dorthy and her ability to get home any time she so chose to GO home. Follow the Yellow-Brick road was about following LIFE Live it, love it, laugh … LIFE

Ok ~ well, I guess I should put a semblance of order about the sites I listed in my pamphlet / networking tool.

Tomorrow, if all goes well, I will upload it as a template, so you may use it for your own endeavors.
